Kaluku at Agrinnovation Conference: One and Only Coconut Startup

On March 15 2023, Kaluku was invited by Tech in Asia as one of the selected exhibitor at the Agrinnovation Conference, where topics on agriculture and technology were raised and discussed. This event was to inspire, empower, and connect various stakeholders in the agricultural industry. Also highlighting the development of innovation and technology through digital transformation.

Indonesia, an archipelago with fertile land where a variety of natural goodness grows. One of them is coconut, a local super food that brings goodness to Indonesian nature which has been used by our ancestors for hundreds of years as a food source.

Coconut has many diverse uses and health benefits that are good for body nutrition. In addition, coconut is easily grown without the help of pesticides in tropical countries, one of which is Indonesian. Kaluku Food is here to bring the natural goodness of coconut to provide the best nutrition to every family in the world.

In his remarks, the Indonesian Minister of Agriculture, Professor DR Sahrul Yasin Limpo, established coconut as a priority long-term leading commodity in the national agricultural development and food security plan.

The government in this case is preparing a large budget so that the coconut commodity can increase its market growth, able to compete with other countries such as the Philippines, India and Brazil.

The fact is that Indonesia has the largest coconut plantation area and production in the world, but currently it has not become a leader in obtaining revenue from the world's coconut commodity.

For us, the Agrinnovation Conference event is a strategic event to expand the network within agricultural stakeholders, especially the coconut industry. We also hope to move on from bootstrapping to seed capital by meeting with investors.

This event is also a momentum to introduce our newest product innovation, namely refreshing drink made from coconut water raw materials with the hope that sales partnerships and trade transactions will be established.
